Are you passionate about quality and keen to make a difference in a dynamic and innovative manufacturing environment? My client is seeking a Quality Assurance Technician to join their team and uphold high standards in compliance, safety, and innovation.

This varied and hands-on role involves internal auditing, laboratory testing, process monitoring, and team supervision to ensure compliance with BRC Packaging Standards and HACCP principles. You'll also collaborate cross-functionally to drive new business projects, support quality initiatives, and assist with audits, including ISO 9001 and ISO 14001.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct internal audits, including GMP, hygiene, and site standards.
• Play a key role in the HACCP team, contributing your expertise.
• Perform laboratory tests, create material reports, and manage supplier non-conformances.
• Respond to customer queries, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with quality and safety standards by monitoring factory processes.
• Supervise a small team of QA Technicians.
• Support customer and external audits (e.g., BRC, ISO 9001, Ethical, ISCC).
• Drive innovation as part of the NPD team, fostering new business opportunities.

What We're Looking For:

• Proven experience in quality assurance within the packaging or food industry.
• Internal Auditor qualification.
• HACCP Level 3 certification (minimum).
• BRC training and experience.
• Excellent communication skills, initiative, and risk-based thinking.
• Strong IT proficiency.
