- Strategic Supplier & Customer Integration - Build seamless demand-supply linkages, strengthening key partnerships to drive operational success.
- Engineering & Asset Management - Identify opportunities for machinery upgrades, automation, and digitalisation, delivering compelling investment proposals to senior leadership.
- Financial & Budget Oversight - Collaborate with Finance to manage multi-million-pound Capex budgets, ensuring maximum return on investment.
- People & Culture Development - Cultivate a culture of excellence, fostering professional growth, continuous learning, and cross-functional collaboration.
- Engineering Service Management - Over time, take ownership of engineering service operations, ensuring the smooth running of maintenance, equipment reliability, and operational support.
Who We're Looking For
We need a leader who is not only technically proficient but also a visionary-someone who can challenge the status quo, inspire teams, and execute transformational change.
Essential Criteria:
- Proven experience in Process / Electrical / Mechanical Engineering within the manufacturing sector.
- Degree-qualified in Engineering.
- A track record of delivering measurable improvements in manufacturing efficiency and performance in both an Engineering services and Engineering Projects bias position.
- A charismatic and ambitious professional with a proactive, results-driven mindset.
Desirable Experience:
- Expertise in automation and digitalisation of plant assets.
- Hands-on project management experience delivering complex engineering initiatives.
- Working knowledge of Lean methodologies and Six Sigma principles.
- Strong financial acumen with budget management experience.
