Shifts: 4 on 4 off (2 days, 2 nights,) - 16 days break every 7th cycle

The Role

We are currently recruiting for a Lead Operator to oversee the safe, consistent, and cost-effective operation of a key chemical processing plant. This role is ideal for someone with a strong technical background in manufacturing who enjoys working both independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate and troubleshoot chemical processing systems with minimal supervision.
  • Ensure strict compliance with safety and environmental standards, carrying out audits and corrective actions as needed.
  • Perform in-process analysis to ensure product quality meets required specifications.
  • Assist with maintenance activities, issue permits, and support engineering teams with isolations and risk assessments.
  • Use diagnostic tools, root cause analysis, and statistical process control techniques to improve plant performance.
  • Continuously seek opportunities to improve systems, documentation, and operational efficiencies.
  • Manage plant logistics, including ordering raw materials, arranging transport movements, and handling SAP system tasks.
  • Support the training and development of team members.
