We are on the lookout for a Transport Supervisor to take charge of fleet operations, lead a team of professional drivers, and ensure top-tier service delivery every single day. If you are ready to make an impact and thrive under pressure, we want to hear from you.
What You will Be Doing:
- Lead from the front-briefing and debriefing drivers and keeping communication clear and consistent.
- Keep the wheels turning, plan and manage vehicle loading and dispatch with precision.
- Drive continuous improvement, track driver performance using system, deliver coaching, and arrange development sessions with the Driver Standards Manager.
- Maintain service excellence, monitor payloads, telemetry systems, and ensure delivery targets are consistently hit.
- Stay ahead of the curve, collaborate with key teams to ensure full fleet availability and stock continuity.
- Keep the data flowing, accurately input daily fuel usage, driver worksheets, and generate purchase orders.
- Be the go-to leader, oversee warehouse operations and health & safety out-of-hours, ensuring smooth handovers and safe operations.
What You will Bring:
Must-Haves:
- Proven experience in a transport or logistics supervisory role.
- Strong leadership qualities with a hands-on, proactive approach.
- Comfortable with IT systems, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and distribution management tools.
- Excellent numeracy, literacy, and attention to detail.
Nice-to-Haves:
- Background in a fast-paced manufacturing or logistics environment.
- Familiarity with transport systems like Isotrak and telemetry tracking.
- Experience managing warehouse operations and out-of-hours safety protocols.
